I'm hearing the skins are preferable to fish scales for waxless. I'm looking at getting such a pair next year for that purpose. There are other skis out there (including Fischers) that have skins and are narrow enough to fit in the tracks. So you'll need to decide what's more important, fitting in the tracks or wider and skins. The Outback theoretically could fit in a track but I wouldn't bet the farm on it. I'm sure you could get them with NNN-BC bindings if you prefer that. When I bought my spiders last year, they didn't come with bindings pre-mounted.
